Kevin Durant could not have asked for a better regular season. Kevin Durant’s Thunder was may have been knocked out of the NBA Playoffs by the Lake Show, but that hasn’t kept KD from expanding his game and in turn, his international presence. His rise to the top was largely in part due to his disciplined training regiment and committment to excellence, and that is the message he brought to Tsinghua High School during his tour of China. As a special tribute for his Chinese Nike tour, these KD II Supremes were created.
This special pair features a blue upper with a black and orange trim and a translucent sole, with Chinese text outlining Durant’s training sequence written under the footbed. The strap is black and shows hits or orange piping. There are details throughout this shoe, including the clear heel cup that shows “30.1″ from behind it. Other special touches include KD’s PPG printed on the heel through a translucent heel counter as well as encouraging messages on the tongue crest and personalized graphics on the inner tongues. The sole uses the same trick with lengthy Chinese text. This is by far the most intricate KD II we’ve seen, but unfortunately, this shoe won’t be hitting retailers in the States.
